We've always said #'s tell a story. Well here it is broken down into bite size for you. Tripped me out that only 7% have attended college. I wonder if that number doubled or tripled how that would effect the World (besides student loan debt).
This is one of those songs that gets us going in the morning when you don't feel like doing shit.
He comes from Outer Space is the only logical explanation we can come up with when watching Reggie Watts. I can't even imagine all of the sounds and ideas that grow in his head. After watching this a couple times we still can't figure out what his real voice sounds like. As far as what he is talking about, only bits and pieces make since to me. But after reading a couple comments between amazement and bewilderment, there was one comment from some guy named David Gardner that summed it up pretty well.
"He conveys meaning through meaningless jabber by deconstructing semantics and linguistics in a senselessly satirical fashion. He created a paradox in which interpreting his work is pointless because that's what the point is. Anyone analyzing his performance will simultaneously feel stupid for doing so because they're essentially trying to make an objective review of his subjective "modern art". All of your comments are invalid because Reggie Watts made them so, no exceptions."
Keep doin ya thing Reggie!

Congratulations to the about 3.7 million heads graduating this spring. During the 2013–14 school year, colleges and universities are expected to award 943,000 associate’s degrees, 1.8 million bachelor's degrees, 778,000 master's degrees and 177,000 doctor's degrees! And for those of you who were not lucky, blessed or clever enough to obtain funding for that fancy piece of paper, welcome to the life of financial debt. But in the perfect world you will have a "Good Ass Job" ready for you to start and you'd be properly compensated for your skills. SIIIIKE!!! The alumni for the past 5 years are still waiting for their Good Ass Job too, oh and they have a head start in the experience category on you, too.
To us, over here at MathAddicts, it seems like college is turning into the newest version of economic slavery. Sure you gain knowledge and skills that you will be able to use for the rest of your days and don't forget that nice ass piece of paper that goes up on your parents wall to make them feel that they did their job as parents, but now you have to pay those blood sucking loans back with interest. So what are you forced to do? That's right, go ahead and take that job that isn't remotely close to what you studied in college and even further away from the salary that you NEED to live.
The Daily News wrote, "Today's students graduate from college with heavy debts, and many aren't reaping the benefits of that education- a poll shows recent grads often find jobs that don't require a college degree. More than 40% are unemployed and 16% are in part-time positions.
I wish we had the answers or even the power to make a change but all we can do is tell you not to get into all that debt (especially for an undergraduates degree), see if the major that you selected even makes enough money to pay back the loan, and even more important, find out if they are hiring in that field. So many people (me) get through school and find out that they have to go to more school to do what you thought you were going to do.
With all that being said, college is still a good thing. Putting tools in your belt has never hurt anyone. Just go with a cause, not just because.
