It's Worse Than You Thought

Posted on February 07, 2014 by Al Gebra

When you look around at the good Ol' U S of A, for the most part everything looks like it is A OK. But then when you look at the big picture, and how the pie is divided up, you start to see a different picture, and it's not pretty. The breakdown of how the funds are dispersed is a real fucked up situation to say the least. Now not to say that I don't want to be "rich", but that top 1% shit is not a good look for the greater whole. This video gives you a visual, and puts it in to perspective. If you are not part of that 1% then you should feel how we feel about the situation (if you are part of the 1%, let's do lunch to chop it up. The pie that is). It could always be worse, but it could always be better too. View, Learn, Spread.

Pillin & Killin (America Deals Hella Drugs)

Posted on January 24, 2014 by Al Gebra

Recently we dropped a design named A.D.H.D. (America Deals Hella Drugs) to call attention to the prescription drug industry and how it is taking a toll on the American Population. The other day I seen this movie on Netflix named American Addict. So you know I had to put you on to it. Peep the trailer below.

We went to the Dope House, or as they call it the "Pharmacy" and got some flicks in real quick.

Boss Ladies Are Gettin' da Most (Not da Lesser)

Posted on January 09, 2014 by QT Pi

More and more, millennial women are finding their own solution to the gender pay gap and that is to run their own business. If traditional jobs won't pay us what we're worth, we'll do it ourselves. In an age where “54% of the nation’s Millennials either want to start a business or already have started one,” according to Carl Schramm, president and CEO of the Kauffman Foundation, women are transitioning to Boss Lady status in large amounts.

We admire women like Melody Ehsani and Sophia Amoruso who are running thangs on their own terms and gettin' da most (not da lesser) as Pimp C so eloquently said. No, we're not "top notch hoes" but instead "top notch ArithmaChics" that are breaking through the gender pay gap in style.  If you're taking those steps and making those sacrifices so that you can one day work for yourself, we tip our hats to you and hope that you don't give up. Let's make 2014 that year that you GDM!

National Geographic Photos of The Year 2013

Below are some photos from The National Geographic Photo Contest of 2013. I am amazed how these photographers get these dope ass shots. Enjoy

Keep on Pushin'

Hold on to your happiness. Bangladesh, India.

Crows in Tokyo make nest using wire hangers since there is a shortage of trees. A prime example of making something out of nothing.

Music Monday CharlieRed with Green Greed

Posted on December 23, 2013 by Al Gebra

We just copped that Muse. from Charliered and this song has been on repeat all weekend. Listening to it makes me unleash my inner Jimi Hendrix. Next thing I know I'm jumpin around and kickin shit. Right when the song goes off, I come back to my senses and pick that shit up. Rocki Evans has that D'angelo soul sound with a touch of James Brown in him. He definately makes you feel what he's singing about. And Cobaine Ivory killin the boards with that Soul Rock, keeps you with the stank face and your neck jerkin.

This video was Directed by Govales, who painted a vivid picture for the viewers by making Uncle Sam the Pimp, with Hope and Dreams as his hoes, and who doesn't chase Hope and Dreams? With The Almighty Dollar seeming like the best way to get them, some people put the paper over all. Enjoy the visuals from CharlieRed.

Shit Looks Like Magic To Us!

Posted on December 08, 2013 by Al Gebra

This video brought to us by Bot and Dolly is a visual trip into what can be done with this technology. I short I just call it Magic, but I'm sure that they can give you a better explaination.
(From Bot and Dolly)
"Box" explores the synthesis of real and digital space through projection-mapping on moving surfaces. The short film documents a live performance, captured entirely in camera. Bot & Dolly produced this work to serve as both an artistic statement and technical demonstration. It is the culmination of multiple technologies, including large scale robotics, projection mapping, and software engineering. We believe this methodology has tremendous potential to radically transform theatrical presentations, and define new genres of expression.
So basically it's Dope.
